Borthwick & District Pipe Band has been brought back to life after being dormant since covid. The band has a great history of over 100 years teaching the art of playing pipes and drums to all ages but particularly young people which there is now such a high demand for with this art not being taught in our local authority schools and especially with the cuts that have also been made to music in general within the schools. Our band provides a fun and safe environment to learn with weekly lessons and practices taking place in Gorebridge Church Hall every Wednesday 19:00-21:00.
