Child Action supports Mumbai’s street and slum children through education, and play‑based learning delivered by exceptional grassroots partners. We work with Doorstep School and the Opentree Foundation to bring mobile classrooms, foundational literacy, life‑skills and safe learning spaces to children who would otherwise be left behind. Our long‑term partnerships allow us to reach children living on construction sites, pavements and informal settlements, helping them build confidence, resilience and brighter futures. From School on Wheels to Foundational Play™, our programmes strengthen wellbeing, keep children in education and support girls to delay early marriage. Every child deserves a lift. Your support helps us bring learning, opportunity and hope to Mumbai’s most vulnerable children.
