East Kent Mencap supports children, young people, and adults with a learning disability to live independent, fulfilled, and connected lives across East Kent. We believe everyone deserves the same chances to live, work, and belong in their community. Every day, we provide practical, person-centred support, from housing and life-skills training to employment guidance, creative sessions, and community activities. Our staff and volunteers work alongside each person to build confidence, develop friendships, and achieve personal goals. We also support families and carers, helping them feel less isolated and better equipped to support their loved ones. Together, we create opportunities that reduce loneliness, increase independence, and celebrate each individual’s strengths.
