Elkan's Light is a registered charity (No. 1217011) founded in memory of baby Elkan Udoeyo-Kabiri, born and died on 1 September 2025. His death was preventable. We exist to ensure that women with a LLETZ cervical history know what it means for their pregnancy, that bereaved parents are never alone, and that the systems designed to protect mothers and babies actually do. We raise awareness of LLETZ pregnancy risks, run peer support for bereaved parents, and develop the tools that will prevent preventable loss across the UK.
