Fleet Bay Inshore Rescue Service run an inshore lifeboat, set up to help those in need in the waters of Fleet & Wigtown Bays. Operating since 1974, the service now needs to invest in upgrades to ensure it meets the needs of HM Coastguard so that the service continues to be tasked to people in need.
