The Friends of Fareham Community Hospital provide support to the Hospital and help to link it with the community which it serves. We provide guidance to users, operate dementia friendly memory clubs, raise funds for transport, equipment and materials which are outside the budget of the NHS; encourage local organisations and businesses to support the Hospital where appropriate, and raise awareness of the services available at the Hospital. We have Volunteers who help in many other aspects of work at the Hospital including Covid Vaccination clinics, Hospitality, Gardening, Transport, Information Talks, and signposting FFCH, as we call it, was started in June 2010 soon after the Hospital was established, and set up as a charity in September 2011
