Girls in Data has been established with one mission in mind, to Inspire girls to follow a career in data, NOT by telling them to do this but by putting in front of them one of the 35,000 Women in Data®, with their own career progression, their own unique journeys and personal stories - to make it real, make it relatable and accessible. We know that role models are hugely important to girls and at a point in their lives where they are considering how to pave their path and make their impact, we want the excitement and opportunity of a career in data / AI to be a big contender. This is the only way that we can break the gender inequity in our industry and ensure that the AI Revolution is built upon a diverse workforce, not making the same mistakes of previous step changes in our living world.
