The Reading Hindu Temple and its resident priest provide for the religious needs of the Hindu community. This includes the performance of marriages and death rites. It also provides the environment and infrastructure for community activities including religious and social. These activities and maintenance of the Temple is funded by donations from its devotees, provision of priest services and the hire of the premises for social activities. We raise funds to support the ongoing cost of keeping the Temple open and maintain the premises.
