Los Angeles' first animal welfare agency, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) has been serving the community since 1877. spcaLA prevents cruelty to animals through Education, Law Enforcement, Intervention, and Advocacy. spcaLA is not a chapter of any group.
