About us
The Ruth Winston Centre is a welcoming community activity and resource centre based in Palmers Green, supporting people across Enfield and the surrounding area. We believe everyone should have opportunities to remain active, build friendships, learn new skills and feel part of their community. Through an extensive programme of affordable activities, practical services and social opportunities, we provide a friendly and inclusive place where people can connect with others and enjoy a greater sense of wellbeing and belonging.
For many of our members, the Centre is much more than a place to attend a class. It is where they can meet friends, enjoy conversation and feel recognised and valued. We welcome people from different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life, creating an environment where everyone can feel comfortable.
The Ruth Winston Centre is an independent, self-funding charity. Donations help us maintain our building, keep activities affordable, support our services and continue providing a safe and welcoming community space.
Every contribution, whatever its size, helps us bring people together. Your support enables more local people to take part in activities, develop friendships, improve their physical and emotional wellbeing and remain connected to the community around them. By donating to the Ruth Winston Centre, you are helping to reduce isolation, encourage independence and ensure that this valued community resource can continue to support local people.
