Shelter Community is a Christian charity creating homes and supportive communities for young people in housing need. We believe that every young person deserves a safe place to live, people who believe in them, and the opportunity to build a positive future. Many of the young people we support are facing homelessness, housing insecurity, family breakdown, isolation, or other difficult life circumstances. Through our homes, volunteer coaches, community activities, and partnerships with specialist organisations, we provide more than accommodation. We create an environment where young people can develop confidence, gain practical life skills, pursue education or employment, and take steps towards independent living. Our vision is to create safe homes where young people can flourish and grow. We are driven by the belief that lives are transformed through community, belonging, and supportive relationships. By bringing together volunteers, donors, churches, partners, and local communities, we help young people find stability, hope, and a place to call home. Today we provide supported accommodation and are working to create additional homes so that more young people can move from housing insecurity towards independence and a brighter future. Every donation helps us offer practical support, build community, and create opportunities for young people to thrive
