St John’s House is a Grade II* listed building and the oldest habitable secular structure in Bridgend. This remarkable Tudor hearth‑passage house — dated by dendrochronology to around 1511 — is an irreplaceable part of the town’s story and a rare survivor of its era owned by a local charity.
