In the context of the 200-year-anniversary of Lord Byron's death in April 2024, the Byron Society wants to rescue London’s Byron Memorial Statue. It was erected in 1880 as a national monument to celebrate the poet but is now forgotten. We need to raise £380,000 to restore and move it into Hyde Park.
