The Old Courthouse Day Centre CIO is a small, independent Barnsley charity providing a safe, welcoming and stimulating day service for older people and adults with a range of care and support needs. From our home in Barnsley town centre, our dedicated team provides companionship, meaningful activities, freshly prepared meals and personalised support in a friendly community setting. Our activities include music and movement, arts and crafts, reminiscence, baking, games, gentle exercise and opportunities to socialise. We help the people attending our service maintain their confidence, independence and connection with others, while providing their families and carers with valuable respite and peace of mind.
