Over 1,000 young people from all walks of life attend Chelsea Academy, a state school in central London. Government funding leaves no room to provide our students with extra opportunities such as after-school clubs, Duke of Edinburgh awards, rowing, or extra support to get into the best universities. And yet we find these things can be the making of a young person. The Chelsea Academy Foundation aims to raise £150,000 each year to ensure these opportunities are open to all our students, not just those from better-off families.
