One of our own, Andy Bingham, is currently going through an extremely challenging time. Andy’s wife, Faye, has recently become paralysed through Functional Neurological Disorder (more info at: https://fndhope.org/fnd-guide/). She has also been diagnosed with Addison's Disease (more info at: https://www.addisonsdisease.org.uk/) as well as having a previous diagnosis of Autism. Andy is trying to raise money so that he can secure his wife the care and support that she needs.

More specifically, Andy is looking for help in finding a care home for Faye whilst he sells their home and looks for a bungalow that is more accessible for Faye. Faye can currently only access one room in their house - the living room. This is currently where she eats, sleeps and goes to the toilet in a plastic pot. She has no access to washing facilities and it is no quality of life for her. She is trapped inside her own home, and it is having a huge affect on her mental health, as well as Andy's. The challenge is that care homes are very expensive, with the average cost of the type of advance care Faye would need costing around £4,200 per month. So this is where we come in!
