I will be running 10km a day for 40 days for suicide awarness in memory of Barry Evz.

Barry lost his life to suicide in August of last year, a true tragedy and complete shock to his family, friends and the community. He was outgoing, kind, generous, and the life and soul of the party.

People struggle every day. Mentally we struggle. So, I wish to encourage everyone to support others your friends, your family, or a stranger. By raising awareness of suicide I hope to encourage people to look out for one another, ask if eachother are ok, and listen, truly listen to those who have something to say. I also wish to encourage those who need help to seek it, and to know they are safe and cared for.

That is why I am raising money for the charity Elusen Mesen - a new charity hoping to raise funds with the goal of being able to provide vulnerable people with money to access emergency care and support. A charity with true promise and a wonderful founder at its heart.

Barry and his family lived in Chwilog which is 10km from my doorstep, thus I aim to run 10km a day for 40 days from the 10th April-19th May! Any donation big or small would be truly appreciated.…
