Story

Elaine, Jo, Roxi and Sue are all running the Brighton 10k marathon on 14th April 2019 to help a little girl get the surgery she needs and deserves. Kyra is an 8 year old bubbly girl that has touched all of their lives with her can-do attitude and infectious laugh.

Kyra was born was a rare physical disability called PFFD that means her left leg is much shorter than her right. She needs to wear a bulky and painful prosthetic to walk and play like her friends. As she gets older, her condition gets worse.

As the condition is so rare, the best treatment for her on the NHS is for a leg amputation. However in America they have the experience, facilities and technology to successfully lengthen her leg and give her a normal life.

Kyra's family needs to pay £95,000 for the operation, as well as travel and relocation costs for the 12 week treatment.

Please sponsor us so we can make Kyra's dream of walking with two feet on the ground a reality.
