My name is Erin and I am 10.

I am walking 10 miles on the 6th and 7th of November to raise money to buy 10 Christmas Dinners. These will be donated to 10 local families in need this Christmas.

I came up with this idea after being able to donate 1 Christmas dinner last year. I don't like knowing that there are families struggling and really want to help.

I will be walking around my local area of Meopham, Hartley, New ash green and longfield. I will be doing some practice walks between then and now and my little brother who is 3, is going to try and walk a bit with me too.

If you can't donate, please be sure to give me a wave on my journey.

Every penny counts and if there is difficulty getting supplies, each family will receive the money as a voucher so they can purchase what they need over Christmas.

I will be making up the parcels and helping my parents to drop them off. I hope some local businesses might be able to help us too.
