NES Fircroft is on a mission to complete a Global Relay!!! Our Middle East and India are challenged to cover 10 Million steps each in 2 consecutive weeks to support the Snehasadan Home for Homeless Children in Mumbai, India.

Each NES Fircroft region across the globe has to complete 10 Million steps in a week passing on a virtual baton from one region to another in aid of chosen local charities. From the UK, our two closely working regions, Middle East and India are challenged to cover 10 Million steps each in back-to-back weeks to support the Snehasadan Home for Homeless Children in Mumbai, India.

The 2-week long activity shall be completed by the Middle East and Mumbai Offices on 11 to 18 May 2023 and Bangalore Offices on 20 - 26 May 2023.

Middle East's segment shall take place on the roads of Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE, Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia, Doha in Qatar, Muscat in Oman and India in Mumbai and Bangalore. In the spirit of NES Fircroft's core value of Teamwork, the team will complete the full course in the form of relay and hand off the baton to our APAC region.

The chosen organization focuses not only on giving children shelter, health, and essential needs, but most especially their education. As education is the ladder for the underprivileged to improve not only their economic but also their social status, every possible opportunity is provided to the children to avail of formal or non-formal education. They are supporting the overall development of each child and currently, a good number have successfully excelled in academics which led them to finishing their studies and/or achieving careers in various fields.

Following the success to support the same chosen charity last year with a smaller team activity, we aim to achieve our goal to help and give hope to more children who need it most.

With the target amount, we would be giving one full year of education to approximately 100 - 105 children and an adequate number of tools and devices for learning which will make a significant difference to their lives.

The organization has been supporting hundreds of young lives since 1962. Currently it has 12 homes in different parts of Mumbai under the guardianship of their so called, House-Parents. Each home is giving shelter for approximately 20 children.
