We're back! And it's the finale.

For the last ten years my friends and I have been raising money for LGBTQ+ causes under the silly pun, The 12 Gays Of Christmas. Each year in December we've created a playlist of twelve videos, mostly song covers, to create a fun little album and encourage our friends and family to donate to a community in need. It started with christmas covers and spiralled out into all kinds of yearly themes - but the core theme has always been being ridiculous on the internet for a good cause.

While I'd love for the project to go on forever, this particular method of fundraising worked better with the internet of ten years ago - and the schedules of people just starting out in life! The playlists are a time capsule of nine hectic but lovely Decembers, and I'll keep them forever. No really, I have a hard drive.

Over the years we've raised over £9300 and I would LOVE to smash past that £10,000 mark for our finale. This year we will be raising funds for both TransAidCymru and The Clare Project, charities providing support to trans, nonbinary and intersex people in Wales and Sussex. They're great! We're so excited to be raising money for them.

You can listen to the songs on YouTube and then, if you feel like it, donate a few pennies to our chosen charities. Because it is the season of giving and also questionable song covers.

Thank you for all your support over the last decade!! I'll write a sappy update when the year is over, but for now - let's raise some money!
