Hurricane Irma is devastating the islands of the Caribbean!

It has ravaged the islands of St. Maarten, Aruba, Anguilla, Puerto Rico, St. Barts, Antigua & Barbuda. Barbuda has been hit particularly hard, virtually flattened, with 95% of the houses uninhabitable. Irma has also killed 10 persons and is still proceeding towards Haiti and Dominican Republic. The damage will be in the hundred of billions of dollars.

I am from Trinidad & Tobago, living in Belgium and have been tracking the developments in the Region. Today, whilst mindlessly sharing videos of the destruction across social media it occurred to me that I wasn't really doing anything to help the situation :-( Some action was needed.

Caribbean people love cricket so my cricket club, Brussels International 12Stars Cricket Club VZW and I have set up this crowdfunding page to help with the relief efforts. Your donations will go to Just Giving which will then send the money to our club account. The money will be sent directly to the people of Antigua & Barbuda. 12Stars C.C. is a registered non-profit organization (VZW) with annual audited accounts. We kindly ask everyone, particularly members of the cricketing fraternity to support this effort.
