I've raised £2000 to help raise money for 1384 Askern Squadron RAF Air Cadets.

My name is Zoe Wood. As a way of raising money for my chosen charity I have decided to do a Sky Dive. Whilst talking about this at work, Max Linstead - the MD of Metal Depot Ltd - wanted to get involved as he is a dedicated family man with children of his own. Max recognises the value in giving these young children the opportunity to flourish and therefore decided to join me.
I am raising money for 1384 Askern Squadron RAF Air Cadets. My son Harry joined the RAFAC almost 3 years ago as a 13 year old with his heart set on a career in the RAF serving our country. Since joining the RAFAC, Harry has worked his way up the ranks and recently been promoted to Corporal. Harry has made it to where he is now, not only through endless hours of hard work, dedication and commitment to his squadron but also through gaining various achievements from completing different activities, tasks and missions. Not only has this been a huge achievement for Harry but he has developed as a person and gained a range of skills such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, communication and self confidence among many others.
Some children sadly aren't as fortunate as Harry, this is why we are raising money to try and assist these children with equal opportunities that Harry has been lucky enough to have. 1384 Askern Squadron is a self funded charity that with your donations could give these children better opportunities to climb the ladder in the RAFAC to assist their futures. All activities are subsidised by the RAFAC to enable the less fortunate children to take part. These activities include flying, gliding, shooting, adventure training and the Duke of Edinburgh award. We aim to help guide these children towards a brighter future and wish to avoid denying any of the children the chance to better themselves or being held back due to financial strain.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated! :)
