I've raised £200 to raise funds for KUGB Wales to send athletes to represent Wales at the European Shotokan Karate Championships in Serbia in November 2018.

With 'perfection of character' being its ultimate aim, traditional karate plays an important, if unseen to many, role in the positive character development of many young people in Wales and in the discipline of physical culture and healthy lifestyle choices. After breaking my coccyx in a crash on June 3rd 2018, I'll be trying to smash my previous best time over 140 km at the Velothon Wales cycle sportive of 5 hours 29 minutes by aiming to complete it in 5 hours on Sunday July 8th. The ride takes in the infamous 5km long, 10% gradient Tumble climb from Llanfoist to Blaenavon as well as the 9% Caerphilly mountain climb. Without funding from Sport Wales, fund-raising by supporters and members of KUGB Wales is the only means by which it can send a suitable number of young Welsh athletes to represent Wales at the European Shotokan Karate Association Championships, the highest level of traditional Shotokan Karate, each year. Please make a donation if you can or just share if you can't. Thanks 😊
