Hi everyone this is my son Tj age 14
He has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, an incurable muscle wasting condition.he loves his xbox and youtube and loves designing homes
A lot of people see tj in his electric wheelchair and forget he's a normal 14 year old boy who can have a laugh, tell a joke and have a proper conversation with you, the problem for tj is his body is letting him down, his legs stopped working 4 years ago, he cannot raise his arms and needs help to eat and drink, but over the past few months his heart is now Down to 21%,
Surgeons have booked him in for spine surgery in March for spinal rods.
The truth is we don't know how long we have tj for because there are boys still alive in there 30s but there hearts are stronger, but so many have gone before reaching 14. We want tj to experience as much as he can while he can, we thought we were going to lose him in early December, tj immune system is low and he caught type A flu and had to stay in hospital, we're trying to do a bucket list that includes
A cruise designed around disabled people. Or a trip to Spain
Be a man utd mascot.
Spend a couple of days in London.
Meet a youtuber. Or go to a concert, we are planning events and fundraisers for 2020 but would appreciate any donations thankyou
