Story

Andrew's Dream of working towards swimming in the Paralympics 2020.

Andrew will be attending NHS Aspire course for young people with Learning Disabilities into work and trains with level 2, 3 & 4 Swimming coaches 3 nights a week and Sunday 6.30am!! in pool and an hour in Gym at the Life centre in Plymouth. 2016 Paralympic Trials saw Andrew's 1st International Competition where he got through to the Final ending up 8th in his race.

Costs include 3 Annual large competitions each costing around £500 with hotel costs, transport costs, fees for each race, coach, one other to be by the pool. Other costs include wkly/monthly memberships and transport.

Coming up in Dec 2017 is the Paralympic National Swimming Competition in Manchester. Andrew wants to increase his training to improve his timings by joining Kingsfishers at Quayside Kingsbridge on Tue, Thur and Sat which has additional costs.

Andrew's aim is to try and improve his times to enable him to progress onto the pathway that leads to a development programme for S14 class swimmer 2020 Paralympics. Andrew just competed in Swim England National Summer Meet (50m) 2017 Andrew got PB in 18 yrs over 100 breaststroke and 100 butterfly
