Story

During the summer term, we will be taking Airy Hill's Year 6 Class on a Residential Visit to London. Through visiting the capital city, the children will gain hands on experiences which will support their learning and give them a greater understanding of British life, past and present. Our visit will include: we will watch Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre, go on the London Eye, visit the science museum, see the gates of Downing Street and take pictures outside Buckingham Palace! London is full of historical, cultural and modern attractions which will inspire our children and expand their cultural understanding of the world.

To gain sponsor money, Year 6 will be taking on a mammoth challenge - climbing Whitby's famous 199 steps, 199 times, between them! We hope that this will encourage people to donate to our cause.
