Story

The 19th Purley is a slowly thriving scout group in the Croydon district, but near closure just a few years ago means that there‘s a lot that still needs to be done! Renovations to our HQ are essential for ensuring a safe and happy space for our young people make new friends and learn new skills.

Our assistant Beaver Scout Leader Ellen (Nell) has been with us since she was a Cub Scout, and has bravely decided to take on a new challenge. In support of our group, she will be taking part in a sponsered 160ft Bungee Jump near the O2 London in order to raise some of the funds required for the much needed renovations to our hut.

Charity organisations such as Scout groups have very little funding despite being an integrel part of communities and many young peoples lives. Please help us to ensure that our young people can continue to develop and thrive by giving generously. All donations are greatly appriciated, thank you.
