On behalf of 1st Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment- The Vikings

Leading up to World Mental Health Day (Monday 10th October 2022) 1 Royal Anglian will be participating in a number of events to raise as much money as possible to be distributed equally between different charities which offer support to serving personnel and Veterans.

Last year, we as a battalion and his family, lost a much loved and well respected serving platoon SGT who lost his own battle with PTSD. It came as a surprise to everyone. And we are not alone in this- there was estimated to be equivalent to 1 suicide of a Veteran/ serving personnel a day in the UK last year and 22 a day world-wide.

Everton Football Club have kindly donated a squad signed shirt from this season in order to help us on our fundraising quest. Please, if you would like, donate a minimum of £5 and leave a message with with your name and email address, and you will be entered into a draw to receive this signed shirt.
