Story
Katie & Jayne will be running in the Henley 10K on Sunday 8th September to help raise money for the 1st Bramley Brownies.
We're raising money for the unit to further help fund activites which will develop the Brownies skillsets and understanding of the world around them. Raising funds for the unit will ensure the continued development of the Brownies in a safe and structured environment which will help them as they grow.
Katie (Cuckoo) has completed one 10K in May and will complete another in August. She is not a natural runner, and sees this challenge as an opportunity to show her commitment to the girls and the unit, as well as a personal challenge to herself.
Jayne (Goldfinch) has run a couple of 10K's in the past, however, having not run for 2 years, has accepted the challenge to regain her running fitness whilst raising important funds for the unit.
Any amount would be graciously accepted. We thank you all and will keep you updated with our training progress!

4 years agoThank you all for your support! I’ve been out doing a few runs over the past couple of weeks! It’s going well (apart from my dog Mae rolling in some Eau de Fox Poo Parfum while we were out!) I’ve signed up to a 5K on the 11th July for some more practise!
