The 1st Braintree Scout Hut was built in 1930 on land donated by the Courtauld Family of Braintree. Our hut has stood the test of time for 88 years and is a testament to the skill and dedication of the scouts who built it. But now, after all these years, we are in dire need of a new roof, kitchen, landscaping of the grounds and so much more. To ensure that future generations of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts can continue to be a part of our group and have a building to call their own, we are asking for your generosity. 1st Braintree Scout Group has been operating for 110 years and are one of the oldest groups still in existence today. Please help us to maintain our building so we in turn can continue to help our community.
