The Boys' Brigade Down Battalion has be sending mission teams to the Nakasongola area of Uganda since 2000. They have assisted with the development and building of schools, medical and community centres and teacher's accommodation, as well as the development of local projects including farms and businesses. The 1st Slieve Donard boys will be helping in various projects within the area when they are there.
