Story

1st Stone Scout Group has been an active scout group for over 50 years. During this time we have seen tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of local youngsters grow and develop into valuable members of our local community.

Our beloved scout hut is home to a Beaver colony, Cub pack and Scout group, as well as being a valuable community building providing a rehearsal space for Stone Scout & Guide Band, and Stone Town Band. It also serves as headquarters for the local Bonfire celebrations, the spring fun fair and for the climbing wall, which is used by scouting and guiding groups, as well as scenery building for Handful of Songs and Gang Show.

Unfortunately, the future of all these community groups and events is now in jeopardy as our scout hut is in urgent need of repairs to ensure it remains a safe and secure meeting place.

Please consider donating to our cause so that we can continue to ensure the hut's suitability for future generations.
