1st Thaxted Scouts is a busy group with a calendar packed all year round with fantastic activities for our children and young people to take part in and enjoy. Going away on camp is an essential part of scouting, and Summer Camp is the highlight of the year.

We’re very lucky to have an expert group of talented and enthusiastic leaders.

Our leaders have youth on their side, which is a great bonus. However, it does mean that hiring a safe mini bus is getting more and more difficult for us to do.

Please help us to raise the money to buy a minibus for our group-The minibus will be used to transport our young people on camping trips, day trips and adventurous activities across the country.
