I've raised £2000 to Support Lancing Ladies FC

Lancing Football Club are a huge part of the community and provide support to hundreds of local people by facilitating football in the community for Mens, Womens and Disability football teams. On top of providing an environment to play football and keep active, the club support the community through a number of initiatives such as mental health, LGBTQ+ and disability football projects. They also support local Royal British Legion club, the Sussex to Africa project providing kit to African street children, which has seen some Lancing FC kit used by children in Nigeria, support for the Fairtrade Foundation & Bala Sport, financial support for players who suffer an injury, and working with Sussex Police via grants to continue to provide excellent football opportunities for the younger generation in Lancing.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic Lancing FC have lost the ability to fundraise in their normal way and help provide support to these projects. Since the football season was cancelled, the club has lost main incomes of revenue, therefore we are looking to support the club to continue to provide footballing opportunities for the local community and continue to provide wider support.
Ellie Wells and Amy Davey from the Ladies team are challenging themselves to cycle 200 miles throughout August (on top of pre-season training and friendlies) to raise vital funds the club has lost out on due to the Coronavirus pandemic).
Any support you can give is greatly appreciated by all at the club!
