Unsurprisingly tree planting events will be different this year. However, we're off to a good start by delivering 50 of the 1000 oak saplings we bought earlier this year (with your donations) together with 50 biodegradable guards and canes. They will be planted in the next few days at a local organic farm by the farm owners themselves. Thanks again for your donations. Without you this wouldn't be possible. Transition Langport 💚

With the donations you've so generously given we bought 1000 oak tree saplings that have been 'heeled in' at the garden of one of our wonderful team members. We have also bought 880 biodegradeable tree guards, 1000 canes & 100 tubex guards & stakes (for the larger saplings) The planting season is nearly here & we have some planting sites lined up. When events are organised I will let you know so that we arrange covid-safe events to which you will be invited.

Dear donators We wanted to update you on our 2,020 trees for 2020 project that you have so generously helped us fund. Last week the children at Huish Episcopi Primary School planted 135 trees and on Saturday we planted a further 389 trees at Thorney Lakes Camping and Caravan Park which brings the total for the project so far to a healthy 524! Once again, thankyou so much for your genersity. By working together we will do all we can to save our beautiful planet. 💚
