Since it was held for the first time in 2011, the Wee Wander has become a favourite event in the PGLF calendar, not only for its fundraising but as a day when Brethren can get together with families to enjoy a grand day out ‘up the glen’.

The Wee Wander will take place at Lodge St. Andrew Lochlee No. 282, Tarfside, on Saturday 19th July 2025 starting at 10:30am, to allow the walkers to return by no later than 3.00pm. The event is open to Brethren, families, and friends, so please get involved to raise much need funds for local charities and good causes.

We are hoping that most Lodges in the Province will participate with teams of four participants from each Lodge taking part and seeking sponsorship from their own Lodge and / or family and friends, with the proceeds being donated towards the charities throughout the Forfarshire area.

There will be the usual bacon rolls, tea and coffees before the “off” and the bar facilities will also be available all day.

To minimise waste and cater for everyone’s own taste, this year, we have decided to advise everyone attend the event to bring a packed lunch or picnic. So, bring along as much or as little as you wish!

There is a trophy for the first Lodge Representative to cross the "finish line"!
