Story

A group of 22 friends are walking 22km each loaded with a pack weighing 22lbs. Every kilometre we will be dropping and performing 22 push-ups to honour the #22pushupchallenge. All this is being done to raise awareness of the plight of our military veterans who commit suicide due to mental health issues associated with Post Dramatic Stress Disorder, PTSD. The number of people, weight of our packs and the distance we are walking, and of course the push-ups, is relavent as the average number of PTSD related suicides is 22 per day! We, and a lot of people like us, are raising awareness and funds so that this totally horrific and unacceptable number will go down, and eventually reach zero. Each and every one of the 22 friends has experienced Mental Health issues, or knows a loved one that is fighting his or her own unseen battle every day. This is our tribute.
