On August 16th, it will be one year since we lost our loving brother and son, Henry Keith.

We are raising funds in his memory to support Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue, an entirely volunteer run organisation and the people who were there when we needed them most.

Henry went missing late on a Friday night at Wroxham Broad when he went into the water and didn't resurface. What followed was an agonising 44-hour search by volunteers over a summer holiday weekend.

The Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue crew searched determinedly through the night and into the weekend. They brought not only their expertise but also deep humanity, offering comfort and calm to our family during those unbearable hours, and they found Henry.

This year on Saturday August 16th we’re walking 25 miles from the hard at Morston Quay, where Henry created so many happy memories, to Hoe Hall, Henry's home. This will be a continuous relay taking about 8-10 hours. We’ll do it carrying his waterski which we will pass from person to person.

Whether you’d like to walk a leg of the journey or take part in some other way, we’d be so grateful for your support and fund raising. If walking isn't possible, we're encouraging people to take part in 25 of anything that is a challenge to them - from playing 25 holes of golf, to planting 25 bulbs in your garden - anything that would make Henners smile.

Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue is made up entirely of volunteers and it costs nearly £20,000 per year just to keep the team running. They receive no government funding and have to rely on public donations, grant applications and sponsorship to ensure kit and training can be provided and maintained. The average cost per call out is £450.

In supporting them, we hope other families can be supported when they need it most. Every donation goes directly to helping them continue this extraordinary work.
