'I've observed family members being 'cared for' for as long as I can remember but recognise that more complex needs require an increase in specialist support by professional carers - something our family appreciates. It's something we don't give enough thought to until it affects us personally.

This year I've entered the 'Baxter's Loch Ness Marathon as I want to raise vital funds for a small rural care charity - Boleskine Community Care. I'm hoping to raise their profile - whilst encouraging others to value both paid and unpaid carers in our community.
