2nd Arnold Scout Group run 2 Beaver Scout Colonys (age 6 - 8 years), 2 Cub Scout Packs (age 8 -10.5 years) and 2 Scout Troops (age 10.5 - 14 years). This means there are approx 100 children, boys and girls, currently experiencing the adventure of scouting. Parents tell us their children benefit hugely from the adventures, fun and friendships they experience in the scouting movement. It can also develop their social skills and independence, and give them access to some amazing and memorable opportunities. The Scout Group works hard with bagpacking, fairs, etc to raise funds for the upkeep of the Scout Hut, but the camping equipment is expensive and wear & tear means it needs regular upkeep/replacement. We would greatly appreciate any support you are able to offer to the cost of purchasing new camping equipment. Thanks
