I've raised £1000 to buy a climbing harness, suitable for the 2nd Chailey Scouts to use when abseiling, crate stacking, climbing, zip-lining and more!

2nd Chailey Scout Group, near Lewes in East Sussex provide the students of Chailey Heritage School, (all with acute and complex medical needs) with the same opportunities that Scouting offers children all over the world, meeting every Thursday and spending a week each year camping under canvas, enjoying camp fires & singing, back wood cooking, orienteering, abseiling, canoeing and much more.
A couple of years ago, 2nd Chailey Scout Group visited an outdoors centre who had a specially adapted climbing harness which enabled the Scouts to enjoy crate stacking and an exhilarating ride on a 200m zip line. At the time the group discussed how fantastic it would be for the Scout Group to have a harness, and this year Ross & Adam are hoping the raise money at Parallel London to do just that.
You can visit the 2nd Chailey website to read our newsletters and watch our camp videos if you would like to learn more about what Adam and the rest of group get up to at our weekly meetings & at camp.
