Story

November the 11th this year marks the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice between the Allies and Germany that ended the fighting in World War One. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the moment the war ended and is marked each year with a remembrance service attended by Scouts.

Being the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice some of the 1st. St. Leonards and St. Ives Scouts will be joining up with Scouts from around the world at Ypres in Belgium for this year’s Remembrance Service.

The trip is partly funded by the Scouts themselves and by fundraising - this is where this page comes in - so please help with their fundraising to send them on this memorable remembrance service.
