My son Stevie and I are taking on the 3 peaks challenge in July with the goal of raising money for our choose charities.

My charity is Mermaids who offer a whole host of support for Transgender and gender diverse young people and their families. This cause is very close to our hearts, as a family with two trans young people. Mermaids offered me lots of support early on in my middle child's gender journey particularly around tackling conversations with schools.

Stevie's chosen charity is The Ocean Clean up. Their cutting edge technology approach to both his love of the environment and his interest in engineering.

Clare is the third member of our team, my fiancé and our driver for the challenge. We couldn't do this without her! This is a personal challenge to all three of us in different ways and we will be training hard over the next few months. We would be very grateful for any donations, whatever the amount to support our causes and keep us motivated :)
