I've raised £400 to help with Whiston Juniors pitch refurbishment and the 3 Amigos (and friends) need your help!

The 3 Amigos are back! 18 months ago Mark, Chris and Mally successfully (and some would say painfully)climbed Snowdon in aid of Whiston Juniors Football club and Eaton Street Park. On December the 2nd a new challenge commences! This time Woody and Marty join the adventure.
This time they are taking on the famous Liverpool City centre 5k Santa dash fully kitted out in their Santa outfits. Liverpools Santa dashholds the current world record with over 8500 competing in 2017. Blue Santas are limited to 500 and guess who will be among them? All of us except Woody!
Now many of you will know that both Mark and Mally regularly appear as Santa at the fantastic Eaton Street Park Christmas Grotto where they will again be appearing on December 15th and 16th this year.
But there they sit on their backsides in the warm comfort of the grotto surrounded by hundreds of happy smiling kids.
This time they will be in the freezing cold outdoors surrounded by hundreds of hairy assed, stinky, sweaty, Santas. However Chris is a Santa virgin and this will be his first attempt at recreating this enormous role and he is really getting into the spirit of it.
The lads recently attended a Santa training camp in Majorca where they did their best to put on some weight so they will need limited padding. Chris and Woody excelled at this training though the beards need some work! Woody even had a traditional Santa co-ordinated hat, with Chris sporting the Blue to match his Santa dash outfit and Mark refereed them.
Grassroots football is really struggling at the moment with massive cuts in funding and sponsorship as austerity has bitten. Being located in a deprived area Whiston Juniors have been hit especially hard. They are a mainstay of their community providing opportunities for boys and girls from 5 to 18.
Whiston Juniors were formed in 1985 and have produced many players including Steven Gerrard, Joey Barton, David Nugent and a host of others who have made a career out of football. But more than those headline names Whiston Juniors have produced a platform for kids to enjoy themselves. We want that to continue!
The pitches are in dire need of continuous refurbishment and this fundraiser is just a small part of helping the process. We therefore hope you can help us to reach our target. As the saying goes "every little helps". Please help us a little.
After Snowdon Mark vowed never to climb a mountain again as his knees still havent recovered. The Santa dash is a flat out slog so he has no excuse. Please give generously to see him suffer again!
