On Saturday 7th August 2021, 6 of us will attempt the 3 Peak Challenge, to raise as much money as we can for the Matt Ratana Foundation. Matt Ratana was a Custody Sergeant in the Metropolitian Police who was killed in the Line of Duty in 2020. Matt Ratana Foundation
The Matt Ratana Rugby Foundation was set up in response to the tragic death of police Sergeant and rugby coach, Matt Ratana.
Funds raised by The Matt Ratana Rugby Foundation will support the design and delivery of initiatives that support community and school’s rugby both nationally and internationally.The charity aims to support local training, exchange experiences and invest in improving equipment and facilities at clubs across the UK, New Zealand and South Africa.
These projects will directly support Clubs, Schools and Individuals from all backgrounds and are aligned with initiatives Matt had ambitions of growing. The Matt Ratana Rugby Foundation, a not for profit organisation with a Private Fund within The Atlas Foundation a UK Charity (UK Charity No:1161179).
The Challenge, is to walk the 3 highest peaks of Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Mount Snowdon in 24 hours.
