I've raised £1000 to help raise awareness of mental health and autism

To mark this final year in my 20s I have decided to undertake 30 challenges, to be completed before my 30th birthday: 30 things for 30 years.
My challenges throughout the next 12 months will vary. Some will be physical challenges, whilst others will be mentally and emotionally challenging for me. I will be pushing myself more than I have ever done before.
So, why am I doing this? I suffered from severe depression during my second pregnancy, which continued after my daughter was born. I was lucky that I managed to find the strength within me to seek help, and thanks to my doctors, friends and family I have managed to come out the other side. What I went through I would not wish on anyone. As the late Robin Williams once said “I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that”. I want to raise awareness of mental health, change the stigma and change the world.
So, there you have it. The next 52 weeks will be a real journey of discovery, joy, pain, exhaustion, fun, laughter, tears and completely out of my comfort zone. Please join me on this journey and help me make a difference to those who need it.
