Story
Hannah, Hamish and Morven have been selected as part of a 12 strong team to represent Highlands and Islands at the next World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia in 2019. They have lots of challenges to complete along the way, one of which is to raise the funds to get there. They have each set themselves a big physical challenge too - Morven is going to swim across Loch Morlich (1500m of cold open water) and Hannah and Hamish are going to climb "The Three Peaks in a Week" (Snowdon, Scafell Pike & Ben Nevis). Please support them to achieve their goals

5 years agoTHREE PEAKS IN A WEEK - they did it! Hannah and Hamish climbed Snowdon on Weds 11th July, followed by Scafell Pike on Sun 15th (down in time to watch the World Cup final!) and finished up climbing Ben Nevis via the Ledge Route on Tues 17th. All the summits in the mist unfortunately but some good views on the way up and down. V proud of their achievement. A big thank you to everyone who has kindly supported them so far - if you would like to donate to their Jamboree fundraising there is still time!!

6 years agoThat's the swim complete, 1500m of a very cold Scottish loch! Well done Morven, Hannah and Hamish. Next challenge is Snowdon for the twins on the 12th July. Thanks very much to everyone that has supported this trio so far; still plenty of time to donate!
