Story
In 2017, we are taking on each of the Three Grand Tours: The Giro D’Italia, Le Tour de France and La Vuelta a Espana consecutively to help raise £1m for the expansion of the much needed haematology ward in Birmingham. Our current team of five amateur riders will cycle each stage of these famous events, one day ahead of the professionals. We are the first team to ever take this challenge on and only 39 professional cyclists have ever completed it.
We will ride 10,403 kilometres and climb over 66,000 metres in 63 days of cycling, all to help raise an additional £1m in 2017.
The funds we raise will go towards the epic challenge of riding the last 2 grand tours and funding the expansion of the ward.
