Story

We have decided to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks for the indigenous charity CEFOVID to raise enough money to install three water pipes within the community (one water pipe for every peak we climb).

CEFOVID Uganda is a community based charity working to empower and facilitate the economic and social development of vulnerable children and youths in Uganda. The kids in the Kosovo slums are keen supporters of Coventry City Football Club due the the generous support of The Two Tone Music Museum, Coventry City supporters and more recently The Northern Sky Blues.

We have enjoyed watching the joy on the face of the kids that have received shipments of kit, boots and training equipment. We'd now like to support three families by providing clean water, a luxury to them which we simply take for granted.

The living conditions in many third world countries are in desperate need of improvements. Uganda is a landlock country in the East of Africa where nearly 90% of the population live in small towns and rural areas. Many have limited access to safe water and some may have to travel miles on foot to get it.

Just one water pipe costs £150 to install and can provide safe drinking water and sanitation. Please support us with this challenge and help supply a source of water that nobody should be without.
